October 20th, 2025 - I'm An Adult Now! Hello! I'm finally writing a new entry in this blog that I never even properly added to my site lol. Some overall life updates since I last updated this (a year and a half ago): Number 1: I started college!!! Sadly, I didn't get into the Illustration program I wanted, so I'm going to the same school for Art Fundamentals! I'm definitely struggling with exectutive function and handing in work on time, but overall I'm really enjoying it. Number 2: I moved!!! Because I started college I had to move to a completely new city, about 5 hours away from where I used to live. It's definitely an adjustment, but I really like where I am now. Compared to where I used to live, there's waaaaay more to do. Like, I've been wandering around the grocery store down my street just because it's so weird to have one this close to me lol. I can also take the train now, so I've been to Toronto a few times to do some fun stuff. And if it wasn't clear already, I'm (pretty much) living by myself. I do have roommates, but I barely ever see them. Kinda weird, but I like it lol. I kind of said it above, but I've been out doing fun stuff a bunch since I moved. I went to Hamilton to see a soccer game, which was kind of weird since it's the city where I was born, but I haven't actually been there since I was really young. It was my first time going to a soccer game, and my second time going to see live sports in general. I've been getting into sports more lately (I like to think it's my T shots finally kicking in lol), so I'm definitely planning on going to see more soon. Maybe a hockey game or two? I would only really care if it was the Senators or Red Wings, so idk. I also went to a wrestling show! AEW's All Out!! It was sooo much fun, I got to see a bunch of my favourite wrestlers in person, and I was actually pretty close to the ring. I also saw Modest Mouse in Toronto a few days ago, and it was really fun too. They played through all of The Lonesome Crowded West, which tbh, I wasn't super familiar with beforehand. I still enjoyed it though. They also played Little Motel in their encore, which is one of my favourite songs by them! I'm also going to see David Byrne on the 23rd, so I'm super excited for that. Other than that, I haven't been up to much. I'm still looking for a job in my new city, but I'm kind of limited on options since I can't drive. I have enough for rent for the next few months with school funding, but I don't get another payment until January.

April 10th, 2024 - Uhhhh So, uh, hi? It's been a while since I put anything here. Honestly there hasn't been many interesting things happening in my life to write about, I've mostly just been working, and I don't think anyone wants to read about me stocking shelves. The biggest thing that's happened recently is probably that I went to Ottawa for the first time! It was for a school trip, and I got to go to an Ottawa Senators game. I don't watch hockey lol. But honestly, it was interesting just being in a big arena. I generally like to observe people, so it was cool to sit and watch how people react during sporting events. I also turned 18!! My birthday was back in February. I still don't feel like an adult, but I'm not sure if I ever really will lol. Around the same time as my birthday, it was also me and my partner's third anniversary! We don't get to see each other much because of distance and my work schedule, but I love every minute I get to spend with them :]

September 1st, 2023 - Baby's First Blog Post! As you could probably tell from the title, this is the first post here lol. So the biggest thing that's happened recently is that I went to my first wrestling show on August 27th!! My partner got tickets for us, and I ended up getting pictures and shirts from some of the wrestlers. The day after, my partner and I went to the mall with some of their friends and I picked up a copy of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne for the Switch, which I've been having a lot of fun with. I got carded trying to buy it because the cashier didn't think I looked old enough to be buying a mature game lol. Not as recent, but I saw Fall Out Boy and Bring Me the Horizon in Toronto at the end of July!!! I've been listening to both bands since I was around seven, so it was pretty surreal to see them in person. Fall Out Boy ended up playing some of my favourite songs too!!! I was most happy about hearing Headfirst Slide, Disloyal Order and GINASFS. By the end of the concert I had lost my voice from singing every song lol. I've also been working a lot. I got a job at a chip stand at the start of the summer, and I just got a new job at a grocery store and I'm going to be starting my training shifts soon. I'm going to be starting school again soon too, and I'm most excited for my art and robotics classes!!
